The Move from our Battle Road Site!

Before we could even begin to prepare our two new sites, we needed supplies! These parent/family volunteers helped stuff hundreds of letters seeking equipment donations.

V
olunteers from the Navy came to move donated furniture from the law offices of McDermott and Wade to our new facilities.

The Bethel High School football team and their coaches gave a day of their summer to come move classroom and office equipment!

Strong young athletes are handing for lifting heavy furniture!

The guys got really into the childlike atmosphere of our program, even donning the children's dress-up hats!

Our classes showed their support and gratitude by creating a Bethel banner.

Mrs. Basley's class came outside to cheer on the players.

Even the cubbies had to go!

Despite the heat, the guys remained upbeat and energetic.

Once everything was unloaded at Sunset Creek, the players
took a well-earned break!

And they thought FOOTBALL was hard work!

Our staff went to great heights to prepare our new sites!

Assistant program director Maggie Weisiger hangs
our name at our new Lee Street location.

Holiday Celebrations

Santa Claus pays a visit to Mrs. Dryden''s class, as the
children sing a chorus of "Jingle Bells" for him.

The children of Ms. Harrison's class also got a turn with Santa, including the chance to describe their gift wishes.

The man in red treated each child to a candy cane.

Even the infants at our Sunset Creek site got some lap time.

Santa bonds with a special toddler.

Santa was especially skilled at cuddling the babies.

Local supporters "adopted" several of our families
for the holidays.

This mother received gifts for her son and daughter,
who are both DHCDC students.

Among the gifts were a new bicycle, a doll,
and even a present for Mom.

The gifts were greatly appreciated by both DHCDC and the families. Our supporters really make a difference.
