Crew Helps Center October 23, 2009 In Daily Press Hampton Town Center: "When Jaynelle Oehler, executive firector of the nonprofit Downtown Hampton Child Development Center, needed volunteers for its move to the former Less Secure Juvenile facility on Kecoughtan Road, the Hampton Sheriff's office was there to assist. The sheriff's office inmate work force program performs maintenance and cleanup in Hampton along roads, highways and cemeteries. Volunteers Help Center October 16, 2009 In Daily Press Hampton Town Center: "Volunteers from SUPSHIP Newport News rest after a morning of hard work for Downtown Hampton Child Development Center, pictured, as part of United Way Day of Caring Sept. 11. The 16-person team, which also included volunteers from NASA, did landscaping, painting, furniture assembly and more. Downtown Hampton Child Development Center is a nonprofit preschool and child care center that focuses on at-risk children."
