In summer 2010, Downtown Hampton Child Development Center became the new tenant at the Mary Peake Center, one of the recently closed Hampton City schools. This exciting advancement in our program allowed us to consolidate our Sunset Creek, Lee Street and Shell Road sites into one!

The Mary Peake Center, which until now housed a program for gifted elementary school students, offers an array of new opportunities for our children:

• Larger classrooms
• Lots of natural light in each class
• Enormous fenced outdoor play space
• Multipurpose room, which functions as a cafeteria, gym and auditorium—complete with working stage
• Convenient location, just off Armistead at the I-64 La Salle exit
