DHCDC offers the only sliding-scale tuition rate on the Peninsula. This allows families who might not otherwise be able to afford child care to pay based on income and need. Our program is only possible thanks to generous support from individuals, businesses, civic groups, churches and foundations.

DHCDC is a 501(c)3 charity with a history of sound financial management and board oversight. Over 90% of our budget goes toward program costs, and we rely on a diversity of of income sources. See our annual report.

Helping the children of today is important, but what about the children of tomorrow?

Our Hunter B. Andrews Endowment exists to permanently support the young children of the Peninsula. Its principal is invested, allowing it to grow over time. Earnings from our endowment provide tuition subsidies for children with risk factors and special needs.

Please consider a significant gift or bequest to keep our program running for generations of children who need it.
