A quartet from the Virginia Symphony performed two shows
of "The Big Bad Musical Wolf."
|
The performance was written especially for children and was interactive, with characters including pigs, a duck,
a cat, hunters, and of course, the famous Peter. |
| |

The flute was the smallest instrument played;
the double bass, the largest.
|

A bassoon and trombone rounded out the group,
complete with narrator.

Even as the day wore on, our volunteers kept
their smiles and energy!

First Presbyterian Church Hampton provided an amazing
number of volunteers, including their very own new pastor,
the Rev. Dr. Cynthia Higgins (right).

Local magician Treybo performed his "unique oddities"
with balloon art for an hour and a half.
|

Treybo's Spider-man renderings seemed to be
some of his most popular!

Volunteer and Board Member
Jen Denton with a new friend,
who offered to help us
control the flow of people
waiting for balloon art
(and she did a great job!).

Dads were really involved with
the exhibits... and sometimes
the kids even got a turn!
